Why This Tour is Special
The Lofoten Islands are one of the most dramatic winter landscapes in Europe: sharp peaks rising straight from the sea, traditional fishing villages, white-sand beaches and outstanding chances to photograph the aurora borealis. In February the mountains are covered in fresh snow, the light is beautifully soft, and the long Arctic twilight creates ideal conditions for powerful images.
Best Winter Conditions
Snow-covered mountains, soft Arctic light, long twilight and dark nights: everything needed for winter landscapes and Northern Lights photography.
Iconic & Hidden Spots
From Hamnøy, Reine and Skagsanden to Uttakleiv and quieter viewpoints discovered on previous expeditions. We go beyond the postcard shots.
Small Group, Two Guides
Just 10 participants guided by two experienced photographers, with real feedback and hands-on help in the field, never rushed, never lost in a crowd.
This is not a standard sightseeing trip. The workshop is built around light, weather and strong locations, with a flexible itinerary that adapts daily to cloud cover, snowfall, tides and aurora activity, so you come home with a stronger, more varied portfolio.
