The Tuscany Photography Tour is a small-group Val d'Orcia landscape photography workshop led by professional photographer Alex Wides, based in a countryside villa near San Quirico d'Orcia. Suitable for photographers of all levels, it covers Podere Belvedere, the Vitaleta Chapel, Crete Senesi, Siena, Montalcino, Sorano and Pitigliano, with on-location coaching, editing sessions, all meals and the villa stay included, from $4,800 per person.

Why This Tour is Special

Val d'Orcia is one of the most photogenic corners of Italy: rolling hills combed with cypress trees, morning mist over lone farmhouses, timeless chapels and medieval hilltop villages. Basing ourselves in a single countryside villa lets us chase the best light morning and evening while living the Tuscan experience — great food, wine country and slow golden hours.

Iconic & Hidden Spots

From Podere Belvedere and the Vitaleta Chapel to the tuff-rock towns of Sorano and Pitigliano, we go beyond the postcards for a varied, personal portfolio.

Photographer-Led

Guided by Alex Wides with hands-on coaching on composition, long lenses, light, storytelling and post-processing in the field.

Villa Base & Small Group

A comfortable villa with pool and spa, all meals included and a small group with a flexible itinerary that adapts daily to light and weather.
